Games play slowly and/or color is distorted.
Windows
Go to the desktop, click the right mouse button and select "Properties."
Click on the "Settings" tab, then under "Color palette," choose 256 colors.
Click on "Apply," then "OK." Also, if you close any open applications or windows, games will play much faster.


Macintosh
Go into the monitor control panel and change the colors choice to 256 (8-bit). Also, if you close any open windows in your operating system and close any additional open browser windows within your browser, games will play faster. Another way to increase the games' speed is to close your dialer or Internet status application once you're connected to the Internet and in your browser. You'll be asked if you want to stay connected. Answer "Yes," then return to your browser. Games will now play much faster.


A puzzle piece appears when games are downloading.

How do I empty my browser's cache?
Windows Internet Explorer 4.x
Click the "View" menu in the browser, click "Internet Options".
On the "General" tab, click "Delete Files".
You may be prompted with a dialog box that says "Delete all files in Temporary Internet Files Folder?" Click the "OK" button. When finished, click the "OK" button to close The "Internet Options" dialog box.


Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x
Click the "Tools" menu in the browser, click "Internet Options".
On the "General" tab, click the "Delete Files".

Netscape 7.x
From the "Edit" menu choose "Preferences"

Open the "Advanced" category by "double clicking" it; then click "Cache"
Clear the disk cache by clicking "Clear Disk Cache"
